In their spatially expansive sound performance Von Kartons und klingenden Dingen (WP), the duo Fromberg & Roigk explores the sonic potential of cardboard boxes. The boxes serve simultaneously as sound source, stage design, and walk-through resonators, from which the two performers coax a fantastical sound world using everyday objects and electronics.

The world premiere invites young and old alike to exciting experiences with sound and offers the audience a playful introduction to their own exploration and music-making with sounds in the subsequent sound lab. Children (from 5 years) and adults can also crawl into the sound boxes to experience a different, exciting listening perspective from the inside.
