The musicians of the Ensemble JungeMusik Berlin invite you for lunch! Melodious and tasty treats at lunchtime. From Monday to Friday, our five lunchtime concerts offer a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with a varied program, giving you the opportunity to listen to music with different ears and engage in conversation with the artists. Today's cooking is done by the ensemble's flutist, Erik Drescher.

To mark Helmut Zapf's 70th birthday, the Tafelmusik lunchtime concerts honor the composer and longtime artistic director of the Ensemble JungeMusik Berlin. Each day chamber works by Helmut Zapf are performed alongside musical reflections on his work, composed by his students and colleagues – Anastasiia Husak, Xuan Yao, Anton Safronow, Ilgın Ülkü, Kaspar Querfurth. In addition, pieces by Artur Kroschel, Bernd Lauber, Olga Rayeva, Henry Mex, Fabian Blum, Aziz Lewandowski, Zbyněk Wiesener, Johannes B. Borowski, and others will be performed.
