With Colours of Ghosts, Ensemble L'ART POUR L'ART dedicates an evening to composer and sound artist Matthias Kaul (1949–2020), filled with surprising shifts in perspective. Kaul's works lead into those "side rooms" of listening where hidden sounds and everyday objects take on a life of their own. His compositions enter into dialogue with Kafka's Ghost by Macarena Rosmanich, opening up sound worlds between perception, memory, and imagination. With cooling bottles, prepared piano, bass flute, and cross-wired guitars, the concert traces the ghosts of things and casts familiar realities in a new light.
